ABRASION RESISTANT COATINGS

Special polyurethane and polyurea elastomers are formulated to resist abrasion. Elastomeric polyurethane coating allows to extend the life of equipment subject to wear, such as tumbling machines, channel and hoppers in mining, and in all those applications where there is scrolling of abrasive material. The advantage of spray application is evident. A rubber coating supposes the application of a sheet to be cut and adapted. This entails scrap, high costs and long processing times. With the spray application of polyurethane, instead, work is very quick, the product is applied on due points and with the desired thickness. You can, for example, give priority to areas with high abrasion while in areas not interested the thickness can be kept to the minimum
