Expanded foams for construction – Density 30 kg – Density 40 kg– Density 60 kg.
FUTURA EUROPE expanded foams provide excellent thermal insulation, which is determined by the lowest thermal conductivity available, lightweight, high mechanical properties, fire resistance adapted to their intended uses, secure and long lasting fit with almost all materials and above all stability at high and low temperatures.
The wide range of available densities offers the possibility to choose the most suitable foam according to specific needs.
Features
• The rigid polyurethane foam is the insulating material that, with the same thickness, ensures the best performance. Its thermal conductivity value, stable through time (λD), is between 0.024 and 0.028 W/mK, depending on the type of foam and the type of coating.
• It has a useful life greater than 50 years which correspond to life expectation of buildings. Thanks to its closed cells structure, under normal conditions of use, it does not undergo transformations caused by water absorption, compression, bagging, etc.
Lightweight yet sturdy, the compressive strength at 10% deformation varies between 100 and 200 KPa; values appropriate for the most common needs.
• Rigid expanded polyurethane foam with a closed-cell structure, has a low water absorption. It is a thermosetting material and can be used for all applications where extreme changes in temperature are provided.
• It is resistant to attack by biological agents and does not favour the development of condensation or mildew inside the structures.
• Polyurethane foams are inert and non-biodegradable. Their eventual disposal in landfills is thus a possible factor of pollution.
The injection expanded foams – Density 20 kg
For special applications, protective coating of tanks, inner filling of buoys, injection applications in the interstices to block the channels for water and moisture that may in the long run undermine the safety of buildings.
Structural expanded foam – Density 200 kg – Density 400 kg – Density 500 kg
This is structural foam, applicable by injection for mould creation or structural works.
SOUND INSULATION
